Waterway 411-9110 Schedule 40 PVC 90° Sweep Elbow – 1½″ Slip × 1½″ Slip
Part Number: 411-9110
Description
A white Schedule 40 PVC 90-degree sweep elbow designed for smooth flow in pool and spa plumbing. Connects 1½″ socket (slip) to 1½″ socket (slip) to allow a gradual turn with minimal turbulence.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits pool and spa plumbing systems that utilize 1½″ nominal Schedule 40 PVC socket connections.
- Use when the existing elbow is cracked, leaking, worn, or you’re upgrading plumbing for improved flow or durability.
- Drop-in replacement for installations specifying part number 411-9110.
Features & Specifications
- Nominal size: 1½″ × 1½″ (socket/slip × socket/slip).
- Angle: 90° sweep elbow (designed for smoother flow and reduced pressure drop).
- Material: Schedule 40 white PVC, suitable for pool and spa water exposure.
- Color: White.
Installation Notes
Turn off system flow and relieve pressure before servicing. Cut or prepare the pipe end square and clean. Apply appropriate PVC primer and solvent cement to both the pipe end and inner elbow socket. Insert the pipe fully into the elbow, hold until set, and allow proper cure time before restoring circulation. Inspect for leaks and proper alignment.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the elbow periodically for signs of cracking, discoloration, chemical damage or excessive stress. Replace immediately if you observe leaks, wall thinning, or deformation to maintain safe, reliable plumbing operation.
