Description
A genuine replacement gasket designed for the filter head of Hayward Star-Clear cartridge filters. Helps ensure a leak-free seal between tank body and lid for proper filtration and system performance.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits Star-Clear cartridge filter models such as C250, C500, C750 and similar that use the corresponding filter head and gasket specification.
- Ideal when the existing gasket is flattened, torn, hardened, leaking, or the filter lid shows signs of water bypass.

Installation Notes
Turn off the pump and relieve filter pressure. Remove the filter lid, clean the sealing surfaces and remove any debris or old gasket residue. Seat the new CX250F gasket into the groove, ensure correct placement, reinstall the lid and restore pressure. After installation, monitor for any signs of leakage or bypass around the lid.
Maintenance Tip
During your seasonal filter service, inspect the gasket for flattening, cracking, or hardening. Replace the gasket if any of these conditions are present to maintain optimal seal integrity and avoid water bypass or pressure loss.
